Classification of carpets (by carpet material):
1. Pure wool carpet
It is usually made of pure wool. It is one of the traditional handicrafts in China. It has a long history and is well-known both at home and abroad. It is used in indoor floors such as hotels, stage and living room.
2. Blended carpet
There are many varieties of blended carpets, often blended with pure wool fibers and various synthetic fibers. If 20% nylon fiber is added to the wool fiber, the abrasion resistance of the carpet can be increased by 5 times; it can also be blended with synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile fiber.
3. Synthetic carpet
Synthetic fiber carpets, also known as chemical fiber carpets, have developed rapidly in recent years, and have many varieties and low prices, which are suitable for general indoor floor laying.
4. Plastic carpet
The plastic carpet is a kind of carpet material which is made of polyvinyl chloride resin, adding plasticizer and other auxiliary materials, and uniformly kneaded and plasticized. It has the advantages of soft texture, bright color, comfortable and durable, self-extinguishing, and easy to clean. Its varieties are cut velvet and loop velvet, with a variety of colors and patterns. Often used in homes, hotels, stage, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, bathrooms and other public buildings. The specifications are: width 3m, 3.6m, 4m; length force 25m or processing according to user requirements; cashmere height is 5mm (loop velvet), 7mm (cut velvet). The main properties of the plastic carpet are: the light fastness is above 4; the rubbing fastness is below grade 4; the peel strength is 3-5 kg.
5. Rubber carpet
The rubber carpet is made of natural rubber, heated by steam, and molded under a carpet mold. In addition to other carpet features, it also features mildew resistance, non-slip, insect proof, moisture, corrosion, insulation and easy cleaning. Its color and pattern can be customized according to user requirements. The specifications are block type, mainly: 500mmX500mm, 1000mmXl000mm, and the length of the pile is 5-6mm. Can be used in bathrooms, corridors, stadiums and other wet or often rainy ground.
6. Plant fiber carpet
Processed from plant fibers. It is often used for the embossed structure of highly wearable carpets, but it is very rough to the touch. It is also useful to process plant fibers into grass mats for indoor use. The most commonly used is sisal carpet, which is made of sisal fiber, which is made by spinning, weaving, gluing and vulcanization. It has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance, dimensional stability and no static electricity. The price is lower than the wool carpet, but the elasticity is poor. There are two types of plain and dyed, including twill, rib, fishbone, canvas, semi-panar, and domino. The width is below 4m and the length is below 50m. It can be used for public law sales and home floor decoration in buildings, halls, halls, and so on.
